Assignment for Tuesday, 05.04.21

Dear Intermediate Latinists,

For Tuesday, May 4, please do the following.

VIEWING

Due by 11:30 AM (EST).

As was true with Chapter 31, Shelmerdine packs a lot of concepts in, much of them by way of review. You will learn a few new concepts beyond the supine, but none of them are as video-worthy as that.

In addition to covering the supine and its uses, the video also reviews some common ways of expressing purpose in Latin, a key concept for a people as highly motivated as the Romans.

Please bring any questions to class, or make use of the group email list.
